Pints from the Past: The Stories Behind Our Street Names Tuesday, January 13, 6:30 – 8:00 pm Lake Theater & Cafe, 106 N. State Street
This month, Pints from the Past is hosted by The Oswego Heritage Council’s Executive Director Kathryn Sinor, on the topic of “The Stories Behind Our Street Names.” Attend to learn the origins of some local street names like Carman and Kruse and hear interesting stories about the people they are named after. This event is made possible through the sponsorship of the Friends of the Lake Oswego Public Library, and is presented in cooperation with the Lake Theater & Cafe. Admission is free and no ticket is required (though food and drink purchases are encouraged to offset the cost to the Lake Theater). Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the presentation begins at 7:00 pm.
