The Before-Hours Teen Book Club – An Informal Book Hangout

The Before-Hours Teen Book Club – An Informal Book Hangout
Sunday, March 8, 12:00 – 1:00pm (lower level)
The Before-Hours Teen Book Club is an informal book hangout for teens who enjoy reading on their own terms. Instead of reading a specific title together each month, teens will read whatever they like, such as graphic novels, poetry, biographies, cookbooks, romantasy, etc. On the second Sunday of each month, they will gather at the Library an hour before it opens and snack with their peers while sharing info about and excerpts from their best recent reads.
This month we will be handing out copies of the LO Reads novel Tilt, by Emma Pattee, which will be discussed at April’s Before-Hours Teen Book Club.
Designed for 9th to 12th graders. There’s no sign-up necessary. Come snack, chat, and bring the title of a book you’d like to recommend to the group!
Due to the special nature of this program, teens will be admitted between 11:40 am and noon via the north entrance to the Library adjacent to the parking lot. Look for our signs!
