Rosalyn Kliot
ABOUT:
Rosalyn Kliot is a multiple award-winning and published artist, with works in various books, journals and newspapers. Her work has been juried into numerous exhibits and galleries in Chicago, and along the west coast including Oregon, Washington and California. Her fiber art has been exhibited at Springfield Museum in Springfield, Oregon. Internationally, her mixed media paintings were included in a travelling exhibit in Japan and featured in the international journal, Still Point Arts Quarterly, winning Best in Show Portfolio. Currently, one of her paintings is in the permanent collection at Good Sam Hospital in Portland, Oregon.
She has combined the traditional influences of a European background, with contemporary processes first gleaned during her study with Don and Alice Baum of the Art Institute of Chicago, while earning a B.A. in studio art while on a full ride scholarship. Her publications include therapeutic art coloring books, available on Amazon, Thrift Books, and Walmart, Lulu and two fine art books and a memoir. She is owner/operator of Pink Collage Publishing, a one person self-publishing company. She is a retired vocational rehabilitation counselor and vocational forensic expert witness at federal hearings, a speaker, nationally and continues art making. On occasion, she conducts one day workshops in neurographic art. I cannot imagine my life without art making; and I cannot remember when I was not an artist.
