World Cinema Series: A Letter to Momo (Japanese)

Join us for a screening of A Letter to Momo. A Letter to Momo is a gentle, heartfelt animated film about a young girl who moves to a remote island and discovers quirky spirits that help her cope with her father’s death. Originally presented in Japanese, it will be shown with English subtitles.
Stay after the screening to engage in a thought-provoking discussion about the film.
A Letter to Momo is part of the Lake Oswego Public Library’s World Cinema Series, a monthly event showcasing diverse international films. This series takes place at The Lake Theater & Cafe on the last Tuesday of every month at 5:30 PM.
Admission is free and no ticket is required (although food and drink purchases are encouraged to offset the cost to the Lake Theater).
Can’t make it to the screening? Library patrons can also stream A Man Called Ove on our Kanopy streaming service using their Lake Oswego Public Library card.
