ABOUT:
My FLOPPY DISK ART was born of an intent to cut outdated computer disks into the trash. Instead, it led to intricately scissored flowers, painted and integrated to compositions telling stories of life & renewal.
Making whimsical art from obsolete storage media was gratifying for me on many levels, including as a wink at my decades of office work and a nod to rapid technological advances. Mostly, it celebrates unexpected inspiration & the Artist Soul’s inherent “drive” to create!
