Chris Dreger
ABOUT:
I find my inspiration in the luminous palette of the PNW—those shifting Oregon skies, and the colors that emerge only in these wild, natural settings, and in the reflective surfaces of translucent vessels and in the textured and the well-loved surfaces of aged boots. I explore the interplay between pigment and space, inviting viewers to see familiar things anew.
Painting is a direct conversation with the world around me—light, geometry, color, form, and meaning all coalesce in dynamic balance.
