THANKFUL FOR OUR CLACKAMAS COUNTY COMMUNITY!
It’s been a great year at the Clackamas Arts Alliance and we are so thankful to all of you who joined us in keeping arts and culture alive.
We hired our new Outreach & Engagement Manager, Ariella-Sophie Sternberg, who has been out and about in Clackamas County meeting arts and culture artists, makers and creatives as well as supportive businesses and organizations.
We started our Makers & Creative Artists series, where creative people can learn new skills from how to market their work, publishing their writing, to building a website and more.
We launched our Gathering event to help creatives connect and socialize with one another and their communities.
This year the Artist Exhibit Program will have installed over 65 local artist’s work in 18 galleries across Clackamas County. The Program Manager, Sue Allen, recently oversaw the current Selection Panel to choose the 2025 AEP Artists whose work will be in the galleries next year. Thank you to everyone who applied!
Additionally we are proud to report that this past year:
The Board of Directors focused on updating all operating procedures and adding experienced members.
The Literary Arts Committee held their Annual Writing Contest sharing the works of local writers.
We spearheaded the selection of the first four local artists to be showcased in the new Clackamas County Courthouse and look forward to sharing with you at the spring grand opening.
The Clackamas County Cultural Coalition gave out 35 grants totaling nearly $60,000 supporting local arts and culture organizations.
