MAKERS + CREATIVE ARTISTS | CAREERS IN THE VISUAL ARTS
Are you a visual artist looking to turn your passion into a career? Are you a creative person looking to transition to a new job within the arts?
Join the Clackamas Arts Alliance and Clackamas Community College’s Visual Art Department for a panel discussion about Careers in the Visual Arts. Come prepared to consider yourself and your work habits, and bring your curiosity about your career options. Careers discussed will include illustration and comics, large-scale sculpture and public arts commissions, teaching, arts therapy, curatorial & museum work, and graphic design.
ABOUT: The Clackamas Arts Alliance offers its Makers & Creative Artists Workshop series throughout the year. These workshops offer creative people a way to explore business potential and opportunities.
WHEN & WHERE: The Career Panel meets on Thursday May 15, 4:00 – 5:30pm at Clackamas Community College, Room AC-102, and will meet instead of the college’s art club.
