“Over time, my art has developed from a focus on the literal to a focus on abstraction with a twist. It’s as if Art found me: interpretations from a microscope in college biology led to numerous life and still painting classes—which in turn developed into chalk art drawings, oil work and now a joyful spotlight on acrylics. My palette leans toward brightness and physicality. Often, I select my paints and lay or pour them down to see what develops. The result is often a mixture between abstraction and realism.”
