“I’m inspired by emotions, music, and the world around me. I create colorful, abstract paintings using acrylic on canvas. I use lots of texture, layers, masking fluid, and scratching, to expose the colors underneath. In many of my paintings, I tend to anthropomorphize the abstract shapes and that lends itself to the stories that I make up about the “characters” in the paintings. I love to hear what people see when they look at my paintings, especially when it is different from what I see.”
