“My own life inspires me! I use vintage magazines to tell stories of my life from my childhood or those around me to bring a sense of nostalgia to my viewer. My goal is for them to see themselves in a lot of my work and form a connection to the work and/or me. I primarily use magazine and books to create analog collages. My technique is unique in that I am more minimalist than most collagists. My hope is that my work makes you chuckle, think, and broaden your sense of the media of collage.
My work has been featured in magazines like Orion Magazine, Poetry Magazine, Playboy, and New Statesman. Over 7 book covers, multiple books focusing on collage and exhibitions around the world. Illustration work for private and commercial work like Pretend Podcast and Blick Art Materials. It’s an honor to share my work with my community.”
