The paintings in this showing are all in my series called

“A View From My Window.” They were all painted during the covid epidemic. I found people from all over the world on Facebook that were willing to let me paint from a photo they took from out their windows or on there property. It was a wonderful way to stay connected to the outside world at this time of isolation, and many of these people continue to be my friends on Facebook.

Nature, and the loves in my life, inspire me. I love to do all kinds of art, but my main medium is oil painting. I love bringing a blank canvas to life, and the feel of the oils blending with each other. I paint landscapes, animals, and people. Creating art brings peace to my soul, it grounds me, and brings me joy. My hope is that my artwork also brings joy to others.
