ABOUT

I am a photographer and designer born and based in Clackamas. My professional work is in visual journalism as a design editor for Gannett newspapers and previously as creative director at Willamette Week. My photography explores public spaces where people relax and recreate. I’m interested in how people interact with these built and unbuilt places. High Rocks along the Clackamas River is one of these undeveloped places. Come summer, the crowds swell and the eponymous high rocks rise from the earth; people dare to dive into the swift, chilly waters below.
