Steve’s art will include landscapes, seascapes, indigenous subjects and historic themes, as well as feature his acclaimed Lewis & Clark traveling history and art exhibit titled “The Grand Adventure Begins – Start of the Lewis & Clark Expedition, 1802-1804”. This exhibit, sponsored by the National Park Service, helps us observe our Nation’s 250th Anniversary. The exhibit is now on its second cross-country tour, with stops here in Oregon, Pennsylvania, Nebraska, Missouri, Kentucky and Montana. Steve is honored to be regarded as one of our country’s leading Lewis and Clark artists. Jean will display many of her superb award-winning quilts with designs from the 1800s to the present. She quilts a variety of styles including traditional piecing, modern designs, landscape, art quilts, and experimental design. As part of the National Quilts of Valor program, Jean has created many quilts for our Veterans. Two of her quilts were accepted to be displayed at American Quilting Society international shows in Paducah, KY.
