Bridge City Improv: Crockpot & Butch Femme Fatale

Crockpot has been performing together for almost a decade in one form or another. Rebecca Feldman, Jason Hays, Jessica Zodrow, and Luke Zwanziger are like family now and love how improv brings the community together. Exterior – Night. Butch Femme Fatale enters. Crime ensues. An unlikely detective is forced to come to terms with the question: Is 1940’s Noir actually comedy? Cory Merrill, Anne Jones, Kerry McPherson, and Stephen Burgess take turns playing a stereotypical hard boiled detective figuring out a devious noir plot made up on the spot.

Improvisation is collaborative, unscripted theater where actors invent stories, characters, and dialogue in real-time. Instead of relying on a written script, the performers build scenes spontaneously based on suggestions provided by the audience.
