Turn Your Furry Friend into a Glass Masterpiece!
Celebrate your beloved pet with a custom fused glass portrait! In this fun and welcoming class, you’ll create a 5×5 glass panel inspired by your favorite four-legged or feathered companion. Bring a photo to class or email one ahead of time, and you’ll learn how to transform it into a one-of-a-kind work of art.
You’ll explore techniques for layering glass to create shape and color, adding detail with frit and stringer, and bringing your pet’s unique personality to life in glass. Whether you’re creating a portrait of a playful pup, curious cat, or another cherished companion, you’ll leave with a keepsake you’ll treasure for years to come.
No experience is necessary. All tools, materials, and step-by-step instruction are provided.
Ages 12 and up.
All materials and instruction are included. Finished pieces will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup at City Hall within a few weeks after class.
