For STEM this month we’ll be building Mini Terrarium Ecosystems, the idea being that these enclosed “ecosystems” ideally will be self-sustaining, needing minimal watering. We’ll use tiny jars to plant our various mosses, ferns, and other plants. We’ll be adding a substrate mix, rocks, and microfauna as well. All materials will be provided and you’ll be able to take the terrariums home with you.
