April is Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) Heritage Month. It is a time to celebrate the rich history and diverse cultures of this vast region, stretching from Morocco in the West to Afghanistan in the East, from Iran in the North to Sudan in the South. The MENA Fest is a free, community event that will include games, crafts, food and fun to honor countries and cultures located in the Middle East and Northern Africa. The event is scheduled for April 14th from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Oregon City’s Pioneer Community Center.
