Opening Reception – Debajo de Nougal [under the walnut tree] Art Show

The Imperfecta Gallery is excited to invite you to the Opening Reception of Debajo del Nogal (Under the Walnut Tree), a solo exhibition featuring Argentinian artist Paola Zakimi. The Opening Reception, set for June 7th from 5 to 7pm, will include live music, snacks and wine pours by a local winemaker.

Debajo del Nogal invites viewers into an intimate, seasonal world shaped by the quiet rituals of a garden. Filled with leaves, flowers, and small creatures living in harmony, this exhibition reflects on the joy of impermanence and the beauty of renewal. It is a poetic meditation on home, memory, and transformation — where life fades and returns with the rhythm of the earth.

Under the Walnut Tree is a poetic reflection on the garden as a living cycle, where life, death, and rebirth coexist in quiet harmony. As the artist puts it: “Here, death is not an end, but part of the cycle—quiet, essential, and full of meaning. There is joy in perishing, and in being born again. My garden is a refuge. The home. My haven.”

This solo show features handcrafted talismans — flowers and magical creatures — that embody the spirit of protection, transformation, and seasonal magic.
