Tilikum Chamber Orchestra: “Made in America: America at 250”

As the United States celebrates its 250th anniversary, Tilikum Chamber Orchestra presents Made in America: America at 250—a musical journey through America, featuring American-born composers and composers inspired by its sounds, sights, and culture.
The program opens with Aaron Copland’s iconic “Fanfare for the Common Man” and Joan Tower’s spirited response, “Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman”. Tower’s “Made in America”, commissioned for community orchestras in all 50 states, follows, weaving America the Beautiful into a vibrant orchestral work.
The concert concludes with Frederick Delius’ “Two Pieces for Small Orchestra” and Antonín Dvořák’s “American Suite in A Major.”
