In January 2025, the Clackamas Arts Alliance and Tualatin Valley Creates are kicking off the year partnering together to bring you the workshop Craft Your Digital Space: Websites & Online Shops for Creatives, with workshop presenter Tim Yardley, owner of Halcyon Hosting, LLC.

This Workshop will be held on Zoom from 6:30-8:30pm on January 23, 2025.

Topics included in this workshop will be:

  • Securing a Domain name
  • Costs
  • Online and Retail stores
  • Payment Processes
  • Platforms for e-commerce, including Etsy, Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce
  • Branding your e-commerce store
  • Social media integration
  • Upkeep and Maintenance

Who: Tim Yardley, owner of Halcyon Hosting LLC, is a 20+ year veteran of website hosting and dev ops.  Halcyon Hosting LLC, is a Beaverton based web host specializing in WordPress that believes in helping local businesses reach their full potential regardless of web host.  Tim Yardley, a native of Oregon, grew up in the Beaverton area, where you can often find him wandering around with a camera taking 360-degree photos or videos for local businesses.
