Learn London Slang with Bob Sterry

LEARN LONDON SLANG WITH BOB STERRY

If you consume any British television or books you might find yourself wondering what some terminology means. For example, did you know “charlie” means fool or that “chuffed” means pleased. The Arts Alliance’s Literary Arts Committee Chair, Bob Sterry, is here to teach us some new London slang for your writing fun!

Our Literary Arts Committee is looking forward to hosting another Writing Contest in 2024 at Clackamas Community College’s Compose Creative Writing Conference. The Arts Alliance will begin taking applications in January 2024 and winners will be presented in mid- May 2023. Stay tuned for more details coming soon.
