Poetry in Public Places
The Estacada Area Arts Commission (EAAC) is seeking original poems for its Poetry in Public Places program. The Commission will select 10–15 poems for durable public display throughout Estacada.
All poems must be the original work of the submitting writer. Poems may be no longer than 20 lines (including blank lines between stanzas) and no more than 40 characters per line (including spaces). Poems should be suitable for readers of all ages and appropriate for public display.
Topics such as nature, outdoor recreation, personal experiences, and thoughtful reflections are especially well suited for this project. Writers may find it helpful to review poems previously featured in Estacada’s Poetry in Public Places program.
Selected poems will be displayed in 2027. The map will be updated once new signs have been installed.
